  • Capture and curate stories, photographs and content that celebrate student learning, co‑curricular opportunities, staff achievements and community events.
  • Maintain a consistent tone, visual identity and standard of communication across digital platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and review social media performance to inform future content and improve audience reach.
  • Ensure all digital content complies with Corporation and College policies, privacy requirements and child safeguarding expectations.

Marketing Strategy and Brand Management

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the College's marketing and communications strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to promote the College's distinctive strengths, educational programs, student experiences and community culture.
  • Support enrolment marketing, community engagement initiatives, events and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in the College's branding, messaging and visual identity across publications and communications.
  • Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Publications and Content Development

  • Coordinate the development, editing, design and production of College publications, including newsletters, yearbooks, magazines, prospectuses and promotional materials.
  • Gather stories, photographs, articles and information from staff and students to showcase the breadth of College life.
  • Work with relevant staff and external providers, including designers and printers, to ensure publications are accurate, polished and delivered on time.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency and alignment with the College's style and values.
  • Maintain an organised publication schedule and coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders.

Internal and External Communications

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of communications to staff, students, parents and the wider community.
  • Develop and edit written content for newsletters, website updates, announcements, event communications and other College correspondence.
  • Work collaboratively with College leadership and staff to communicate key initiatives, events, achievements and important information.
  • Ensure communications are timely, appropriate, professional and consistent with the College's tone and identity.
  • Build positive working relationships across the College to gather information, coordinate content and support effective communication.

Collaboration and Project Coordination

  • Develop positive relationships with staff, students, families and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines in a busy school environment.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of marketing and communications projects.
  • Respond professionally and flexibly to emerging priorities and time‑sensitive requests.
  • Contribute ideas, initiative and creative solutions to strengthen the College's communication and community engagement.

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the College website, ensuring content is current, accurate and aligned with the College's messaging.
  • Upload news stories, update key pages, and support improvements to usability and enquiry pathways.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write, edit and proofread engaging content for a range of audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, collaborate effectively and communicate confidently with people at all levels of the College community.
  • Social media expertise, including content creation, platform management, scheduling and an understanding of digital engagement.
  • Marketing and creative capability, with an ability to identify stories, communicate a clear brand identity and contribute to strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency and a high standard of presentation across all communications.
  • Initiative and creativity, with the ability to identify opportunities, generate ideas and work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • Adaptability and sound judgement, particularly when responding to changing priorities and handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Confidence using relevant digital communication, publishing and design tools.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, media, writing or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, communications or marketing.
