St Mary’s Cathedral College Sydney is seeking an Instructional Leader of Learning: Science for Years 9–12. This on-going, full-time leadership role focuses on driving pedagogical excellence, curriculum alignment and assessment practices within a Catholic education framework.

The role collaborates with senior leaders to uphold the school's values of empathy, excellence, truth, curiosity and collaboration and to foster a thriving Catholic learning community.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation required.
• Experience in middle/leadership roles within a Catholic school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment across Years 9–12.

Responsabilités

• Lead school-wide excellence in pedagogy, curriculum and assessment practices.
• Support implementation of new pedagogies for Science across Years 9–12.
• Develop professional learning to build classroom practice and teacher capacity.
• Monitor student outcomes and align activities with the school's vision and values.
