Job summary

Mount St Benedict College in Sydney seeks an experienced executive leader to shape pedagogy, strengthen teaching practice and improve learning outcomes across Years 7–12. The Dean of Pedagogy and Learning provides strategic leadership of teaching, learning and curriculum, guiding staff through evidence-based approaches and a renewed framework aligned with Catholic mission.

Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the appointee will coach heads of departments, utilise student progress data, ensure NSW

Qualifications

Must hold teaching qualifications and postgraduate qualifications in education, leadership or a related field.
Must have NSW NESA registration to teach in NSW and a current Working with Children Check.
Demonstrated executive or school leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Shape pedagogy, strengthen teaching practice and improve learning outcomes.
Provide strategic and operational leadership of teaching, learning and curriculum.
Lead whole-College pedagogical change and engage staff in a shared framework.
Coach and develop Heads of Department and teachers through collaboration.
Ensure curriculum operations and resources support consistent teaching and learning.
Demonstrate deep Catholic social teaching and alignment with College values.
