Job summary

Melbourne Citymission Inc. is seeking a School to Work Coordinator to deliver the Victorian Government's School to Work program within an allocated region.

The role involves building employer partnerships, coordinating work experience and structured workplace learning, and supporting SBATs to help young people access education, training and employment pathways. The role reports to the Team Leader, working with schools, employers and community stakeholders to create meaningful learning

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services, education, youth services, community services or workforce development.
• Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, schools and community stakeholders to create opportunities for young people.
• Source and coordinate work experience, structured workplace learning, apprenticeships and traineeships across industries.
• Engage with employers and promote benefits of work-based learning programs.
• Manage records and achieve activity and performance targets; support inclusive participation.
