Job summary

Head Start Delivery Coordinator role in Victorian government schools supports SBAT pathways and coordinates engagement with schools, SBAT providers and employers to ensure consistent, high-quality SBAT support. The role streamlines SBAT activities, monitors delivery, and reports on performance, working closely with the area Jobs, Skills and Pathways Manager (JSPM) and School to Work program partners.

The successful candidate will have strong program coordination, data literacy, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to model and support collegial behaviours aligned with Department values.
• Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with students, schools, employers and SBAT providers.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and use digital tools to improve program operations.
• Demonstrated capacity to coordinate day-to-day program operations and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive relationships with Victorian government schools and SBAT employers.
• Coordinate operational support for Head Start SBAT Officers and ensure policy compliance.
• Plan for and monitor Head Start performance through data analysis and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular reporting and advice to the JSPM on head start activities and risks.
• Collaborate with JSP team and external providers to resolve student, school and stakeholder issues.
