Job summary

St Hilda’s School on the Gold Coast is seeking a motivated Sports Administrator to support the sport program. You will coordinate portfolios of sports each term, handle registrations, schedules and communications, and work with the Director of Sport to ensure engaging experiences for students, coaches and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sports administration, event coordination, or similar operational support.
• Knowledge of Queensland school sport structures (QGSSSA, Andrews Cup) and competition frameworks.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of an assigned portfolio of sports each term, including planning, communication, and coordination with the Director of Sport, Coaches, and external associations.
• Coordinate team nominations, registrations, draws, and competition logistics with QGSSSA.
• Assist with trials, trainings, fixtures, and carnivals for allocated sports.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and facility requirements, ensuring readiness for training and competitions.
• Prepare and distribute communications, including weekly schedules and notices to coaches, students and families.
• Assist with planning and delivering sporting events and trophy/medal orders.
