Job summary

Queensland Department of Education is seeking a part-time Business Manager for Glenden State School. You will provide corporate, administrative, HR, financial and facilities support to the Principal, supervising staff and managing budgets and records.

You will work within defined guidelines to deliver solutions to stakeholders on HR, finance and facilities issues, autonomously prioritising work with guidance from the Principal.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day office procedures within school policies and manage school records.
• Supervise school support staff, monitor workloads and performance with Principal guidance.
• Oversee recruitment, induction and training of school staff and payroll processes.
• Support budget preparation and day-to-day financial matters including accounts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate resources, assets, facilities, and technology; arrange maintenance as needed.
