Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a capable Business Manager for Trinity Beach State School in Cairns to lead operations across finance, HR, facilities, IT and safety. You will partner with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team to align resources with student learning and wellbeing, while guiding a diverse team and implementing efficient processes.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest, with extensions not exceeding 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate autonomy to ensure business service outcomes are achieved and lead diverse teams in a dynamic school environment.
• Provide executive and administrative support services, manage competing priorities, interpret policies, and drive improvements in processes.
• Lead HR activities for school support staff, workforce planning, recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
• Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with legislation and policy.
