Queensland Department of Education is seeking a part-time Business Manager for Glenden State School. You will provide corporate, administrative, HR, financial and facilities support to the Principal, supervising staff and managing budgets and records.
You will work within defined guidelines to deliver solutions to stakeholders on HR, finance and facilities issues, autonomously prioritising work with guidance from the Principal.

The Business Manager provides corporate, administrative, HR, financial and facilities support to the Principal at Glenden State School, including supervising support staff,managing recruitment and workforce processes, administering budgets and financial transactions, coordinating facilities and technology, and maintaining school records andreporting systems.
The role also manages competing priorities, supports school communications and newsletters, advises stakeholders on operational issues, andidentifies process improvements while ensuring services comply with departmental policies, legislation and governance requirements. This position is being offered in a TemporaryPart-Time capacity (0.60FTE), 43.5 hours per fortnight.

As the Business Manager you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the Principal.
You will work within well-defined guidelines to provide advice and offer solutions to key stakeholders (external and internal) on business related problems (e.g. human resources, finance and facilities management), and have responsibility for autonomously delivering on priorities, seeking expert advice, adapting processes, problem solving and providing solutions according to clear outcomes, with regular guidance by the Principal.
