Central DeWitt Nutrition Services is seeking a General Food Service Worker for Middle School. The role runs 3 hours, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with no lunch break, aligned to the school calendar.

ASAP start for the remainder of the 26-27 school year; flexibility for other kitchen positions as needed. Responsibilities include dishwashing, food prep, serving, inventory, and basic kitchen duties. Must lift heavy objects, work fast, and maintain food safety and math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace on your feet for long periods.
• Must have tolerance of heat and humidity.
• Must have basic food handling knowledge and good math skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate washing dishes/pans and manual ware washing.
• Assist in serving food and stocking the kitchen.
• Assist with salads/sandwiches and setting up the food line.
• Support kitchen staff as needed and be backup for cashier/cook.
