Preble Shawnee Elementary School in Ohio seeks a dependable Lunchroom Aide to supervise students during the daily lunch period and assist with basic tasks.

This 2.5-hour-per-day position follows the school calendar and requires patience, good communication, and the ability to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

The role supports teachers and staff by opening containers, guiding behavior, and helping with daily routines while upholding school policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Ohio certification/licensure is required by the district.
• Experience with children or in an educational setting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Supervise students during lunch periods in cafeteria and designated areas.
• Assist students as needed (opening containers, basic guidance).
• Maintain order and encourage appropriate behavior.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the lunchroom.
• Communicate concerns or incidents to staff promptly.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Creates an environment for success and fosters a love of learning.
