Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education seeks an ICT Manager to lead St Columban's IT department and steer the planning and delivery of ICT services to support the school's strategic goals and operational excellence.

Based at Caboolture, you will guide hardware/software strategies, manage the ICT infrastructure budget, and lead a team to deliver sustainable technology solutions for teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ICT operations providing expert advice to a leadership team.
• Expertise in evaluating and implementing sustainable hardware, software, and ICT infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of the evolving ICT education sector, to offer strategic advice on technology and infrastructure improvements within a school setting.
• Experience in managing ICT budgets, resource allocations, and providing insights on future requirements.
• Proven ability to manage and develop ICT staff through performance management, training, and workforce planning.
• Tertiary qualification at Associate Diploma/Diploma level in ICT.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ICT strategic direction of ICT operations within the school, providing strategic advice, analysis and support to the leadership team in relation to ICT.
• Investigating and implementing hardware, software and ICT infrastructure, in consultation with the Leadership Team that is sustainable and responsive to the needs of the school community.
• Providing strategic advice to the Leadership Team on the operations and future directions of the changing ICT education sector, technology and infrastructure improvement.
• Managing the ICT infrastructure and systems budget and resource allocations, providing advice and reports on future requirements.
• Managing ICT staff, including performance management, training and development and workforce planning.
