Job summary

The Y Victoria is seeking Casual Educators to run School Holiday Programs in Cobram. Shifts run 6:30am–6:30pm, with hourly rates from $40.59/hour plus an OSHC retention payment and super.

As an OSHC Educator you’ll create engaging experiences for children, supported by a coordinated team and your local OSHC staff. Join a values‑driven workplace that values work‑life balance, flexible rostering, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification is required or willingness to enrol in a course.
• First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent) is required or willing to obtain.
• Valid Victorian Working with Children Check – employee check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the OSHC team and Coordinator to deliver engaging School Holiday Programs.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the school community.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of children during activities and transitions.

What’s the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for School Holiday Programs within Cobram. School Holidays shifts vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm.

The hourly rate for the position is between $40.59 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.

As an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our School Holiday programs.

What will I need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
