Job summary

Y Victoria is seeking Casual Educators to support Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs in Warragul North. Shifts run Monday to Friday with hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm, during the 21st of September to the 2nd of October. The role pays from $40.59 per hour, plus ECEC retention payment and super.

You will empower young children, work with a supportive team, and help facilitate engaging experiences across OSHC and holiday sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in early childhood or OSHC setting (ACEQCA-approved).
• First Aid in Education & Care or equivalent certification.
• Victorian Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver before/after school care sessions and school holiday activities.
• Create engaging activities and supportive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with coordinators and other educators on rosters.

School Holiday Program Educator - Warragul North

Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs within Warragul North. This is a casual position, with working hours varying from Monday to Friday. School Holidays shifts vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm and will run from 21st of September - 2nd of October.

The hourly rate for the position is between $40.59 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.

As an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our Before and After School Care sessions and School Holiday programs.

What will I need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
