St Anthony's School in Wanneroo is seeking a diligent grounds and maintenance worker to support daily operations. The role runs 6am–1.30pm with an initial contract from Term 4 to the end of Term 1, 2027, and may extend.

The position requires attention to safety, basic repairs, gardening, and the ability to work with staff and contractors. You will perform garden care, repairs, safety checks, and help with deliveries and event setup.

Formación

• Experience in general maintenance including plumbing and irrigation.
• Gardening and grounds maintenance knowledge.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work with others and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and safety-focused.
• Holder of a valid driver’s licence (C class) and able to pass a police clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine garden maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
• Maintain grounds to a high standard and manage waste.
• Carry out basic repairs: locks, plaster, painting, plumbing.
• Prepare regular status reports on facility operations.
• Monitor health and safety, report hazards and assist with risk assessments.
• Open/lock buildings and inspect grounds for safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment, report faults.
• Assist with deliveries, waste management, and contractor supervision.
• Move and assemble office furniture; assist in event setup.
