Job summary

Maramba Primary School is seeking a Grounds and Facilities Maintenance Officer to perform routine grounds care, minor repairs and basic trades. The role requires practical experience in horticulture, landscaping and general maintenance within a school environment.

You will manage garden beds, trees and shrubs, ensure safety and hygiene across outdoor spaces, and support the school community while adhering to WHS practices and school policies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping or related area.
• Experience maintaining a wide variety of garden beds, trees, shrubs and outdoor spaces.
• Sound knowledge of plant care and seasonal planting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance across school grounds and buildings, including minor repairs to fences, gates, paths and outdoor furniture.
• undertake basic painting, plumbing and handyman tasks; identify and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain work areas, equipment and storage spaces clean, organized and safe.
