Job summary

Queensland Department of Education – Moranbah QLD is seeking a Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities at Moranbah State High School. You will perform day-to-day tasks to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include mail and document handling, classroom preparation, furniture moves, stock management, security system support, banking of funds, and assisting with event setups such as fetes and major sports events.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting mail, parcels and documents; printing and photocopying; preparing classrooms for examinations and assembling halls, including moving furniture and stocking school equipment.
• Support security duties with school security systems; banking of school funds; and locking/unlocking buildings during core hours.
• Assist with drainage and gutter cleaning, waste collection, event set-ups such as fetes, plays and major sporting events.
