Job summary

Hoban Recruitment is seeking a School Crossing Supervisor in Victoria, Australia. You will help children, parents and community members safely cross roads during school hours, and teach safe crossing practices. Rosters are aligned to the start and end of school days.

You will report incidents, stay alert, and maintain professionalism while assisting at crossings. This role offers the opportunity to serve the local community with reliable, set hours.

Qualifications

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting children, families, and pedestrians to safely cross at children's crossings and traffic lights
• Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and potential risks
• Maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism.

Successful candidates will have:

• Currently hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check & Clear Police check
• Be medically fit.
• Be able to engage with children, parents, teachers and members of the community.
• Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (ideal, but not a necessity)
• Access to a Smartphone for timesheet purposes
• Availability Monday to Friday, from 7.45am to 9.00am and 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
