Job summary

Blackout Catering is seeking a School Catering Assistant to join our Meadowbrook/Logan school tuckshop team. Immediate start available for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen and enjoys delivering wholesome meals and friendly service.

You will handle high-volume food prep, follow food safety standards, and work Monday to Friday during school terms. If you’re proactive, reliable and ready to roll up your sleeves, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial kitchen experience and confidence working in a busy environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational, reliability and customer service skills.
• Current Food Safety Certificate.
• Valid paid Blue Card.
• Current open driver’s licence with clear driving history.
• Own reliable transport to get to and from work.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on team member to join our school tuckshop team in the Meadowbrook/Logan area.

This is a school food service role focused on:

• Preparing fresh, wholesome meals, sandwiches and simple hot food
• High-volume food preparation and service
• Following food safety standards and established systems

What we’re looking for:
