Job summary

Chartwells at a prestigious private school in Bathurst is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to support the catering team. You will assist with food preparation, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas, and help receive deliveries.

Ideal candidates enjoy working in a busy team, understand food safety, and can follow instructions. A Working With Children Check is required or willing to obtain one; previous kitchen or catering experience is advantageous but not essential.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our catering team at a prestigious private school.

Description:

• Free onsite parking
• Meals provided on shift
• 6:30 am to 2:30 pm or 11:30 am to 7:30 pm most days

THE PERSON

• Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment
• Have knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Be able to work efficiently and follow instructions
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
• Previous kitchen, hospitality, or catering experience is advantageous but not essential
