Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, caring Catering Assistant to join our team at a school site in Rose Bay, NSW. This role offers flexible, consistent hours during the school week, perfect for parents or carers balancing family life.

Roster is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 2:00pm, with full training provided and a supportive, family-friendly work environment. Experience in a commercial kitchen is highly regarded, and reliable transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen highly regarded.
• Reliable and punctual in attendance and duties.
• Ability to work in a team with good communication.
• Willingness to multi-task in a busy kitchen environment.
• Respectful and courteous to students, staff and clients.
• Willingness to support chefs and kitchen team during service.
• Must have reliable transport to school site.

Responsibilities

• Providing meal service to Students.
• Cleaning of serveries and kitchen areas.
• Adhering to quality assurance documents.
• Washing dishes and plating meals.
• Preparing salads and sandwiches in the kitchen.
• Function setup and clear down as required.
• Assist Chef and Chef Manager with food/beverage prep.
• Food, coffee and tea service.
