Job summary

Chartwells in Victoria is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join a busy education-site operation. Enjoy Monday to Friday daytime shifts (3–4 per week) with school holidays off and free parking onsite.

You will wash dishes, help prepare and present food and beverages, serve customers, operate the till, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service while maintaining hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service and basic food handling is desired.
• Some experience with coffee making is advantageous.
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excels in high-pressure environments.
• Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings.
• Possesses hands on experience with POS systems.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.

Catering Assistant

$33.86 / hour incl Casual Loading ($27.09 + 25% Casual)

• Monday to Friday, 3 - 4 daytime shifts per week
