Job summary

Water Corporation in Perth region is seeking a permanent Technical Officer – Scheduling at our Canning Vale office. You will coordinate work orders, allocate crews and prioritize tasks to meet KPI targets while operating on a rotating roster from 6.00 am to 5.00 pm.

You’ll be responsible for rescheduling, replanning and/or cancelling work based on resource availability and business rules, ensuring minimal site impact and consistent service delivery across WA.

Qualifications

  • Considerable experience as a service delivery scheduler.
  • Promotes safety culture with a One Team, Zero Injuries mindset.
  • Strong customer service skills for stakeholder enquiries in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Familiar with PDAs, OMS, SAP, Grange and Maximo.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule work based on priority, due date, location and asset impact to meet KPIs.
  • Allocate work to maximise crew utilisation throughout the week.
  • Manage work orders by rescheduling, replanning or cancelling based on resource availability.
  • Identify recurring issues, eliminate duplications, and manage corrective work.
  • Rotate rosters with three other schedulers covering 6am–5pm.

Job description

We have a permanent opportunity for a Technical Officer – Scheduling based at our Canning Vale office. As the first point of contact for crews, contractors and the Operations Centre, you’ll be a pivotal player in delivering flawless service to our customers. You must be able to commit to working on a rotating roster with 3 other Schedulers covering 6.00 am to 5.00 pm daily.

About The Role
  • You will be accountable to schedule work based on priority, due date, geographical location and asset impact to ensure work orders are managed through their entire lifecycle to meet corporate KPI’s
  • Responsible for work allocation to ensure crews are effectively utilised throughout the week.
  • Manage all work orders by rescheduling, replanning and/or cancelling based on resource availability and business rules to ensure minimal impact to site, assets, process, and environment.
  • Manage corrective work creation, identify any reoccurring trends, and eliminate duplications.
  • Rotating rosters between other 3 Schedulers - Covering 6am-5pm
About You
  • You have considerable experience as a service delivery scheduler, and your stellar administration, coordination, and service delivery skills showcase this.
  • You constantly promote a safety culture to advocate and drive safety within your team. One Team, Zero Injuries
  • Your flair for customer service helps you respond to stakeholder enquiries with kindness and confidence, whilst working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team of 5.
  • Supporting Service Delivery is not new to you, and you can hit the ground running when it comes to PDAs, OMS, SAP, Grange and Maximo.
