Job summary

The Salvation Army Aged Care is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to lead a seven-person team and oversee workforce rostering across residential aged care services. You will ensure rosters meet care-minute requirements, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights to centre leadership.

You will use UKG, Emprevo and Workday to support efficient scheduling and reporting, collaborate with Centre Managers, and drive improvements in rostering practices.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in workforce scheduling within a large, complex organisation.
  • Experience leading and developing a scheduling or workforce team.
  • Advanced Excel and workforce-data analysis capability.
  • Experience using UKG, Emprevo, Workday or comparable workforce-management technology.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence operational leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support a seven-person Scheduling Team across residential aged care services.
  • Ensure shifts are scheduled and covered in accordance with approved rosters.
  • Provide workforce KPI and care-minute performance reports and insights to operational leaders.
  • Monitor agency usage, overtime, vacancies, and other key indicators.
  • Partner with Centre Managers to identify risks and improve roster performance.
  • Maintain master roster templates across services and ensure compliant rostering.
  • Leverage UKG, Emprevo and Workday to support scheduling, reporting and information flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement of workforce processes and systems.
