Job summary

Essential Network Solutions (ENS) is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate electrical field technicians across Queensland and NSW. You will manage daily schedules, handle urgent jobs, communicate with technicians, customers and internal stakeholders, and build efficient routes to keep operations on track.

This is not a typical admin role—expect ownership, quick problem-solving, and the ability to adapt as plans change.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, coordination, dispatch, logistics or operations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence on the phone.
• The ability to prioritise competing demands.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
• A genuine team-first attitude.
• Experience in electrical contracting, utilities, metering or field services is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Knowledge of electrical network terminology is a bonus.
• A tertiary qualification is also highly regarded.

At Essential Network Solutions (ENS), you'll help coordinate electrical field technicians across Queensland and NSW, ensuring critical work is completed safely, efficiently and on time.

ENS provides metering and field services across Australia's electricity network, supporting major energy providers and delivering critical work throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

About the Role

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a key role in our operations team by:

Coordinating daily schedules for field technicians

Managing urgent jobs, schedule changes and shifting priorities

Communicating with technicians, customers and internal stakeholders

Building efficient work schedules and routes

Monitoring job progress and resolving issues

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

This is not a typical administration role. You'll be trusted to make decisions, manage competing priorities and help keep our field operations running efficiently.

No two days are the same. Success in this role comes from staying organised, thinking ahead, and finding solutions when plans change.

What We're Looking For

You'll likely have:
