Job summary

All Access Scaffold, part of All Access Hire, is seeking a hands-on Business Development & Operations Manager to lead our scaffold division in Yatala. You’ll manage customers, coordinate projects and drive growth from enquiry to completion.

Working with the Directors, you’ll develop quotes, coordinate contracts, plan daily operations and push performance against KPIs, with the chance to grow into a key management role within the business.

Scaffold Business Development & Operations Manager

Are you a hands-on professional who enjoys managing customers, coordinating projects and helping a business grow?

All Access Scaffold, part of All Access Hire, is looking for a motivated Business Development & Operations Manager to join our growing scaffold division in Yatala.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer management, business development, contract coordination and day-to-day operations.

Working directly with our Directors, you'll be involved in the entire process, from initial customer enquiries and quoting through to coordinating jobs and managing projects to completion.

We're looking for a capable all-rounder who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and taking ownership, with the opportunity to grow into a key management role within the business.

The Role

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day success and continued growth of our scaffold division, managing customer relationships and supporting projects from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

Customer Management: Build strong relationships with builders, contractors and existing clients, managing their requirements from initial enquiry through to job completion.

Business Development: Identify new opportunities, generate enquiries and help grow our scaffold customer base.

Quoting & Contracts: Prepare and follow up quotes, coordinate contract requirements and manage customer communications.

Operations & Coordination: Work alongside the Directors to assist with scheduling, scaffold hire coordination and daily operational requirements.

Project Management: Liaise with customers and the operations team to ensure jobs are organised, requirements are communicated and projects run smoothly.

Business Performance: Work towards agreed KPIs while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service and revenue.

Daily Planning: Independently manage your schedule, prioritise tasks and balance customer enquiries, business development and operational responsibilities.

You'll initially work closely with the Directors, who will continue overseeing operations, while you develop the knowledge and experience to take on broader responsibilities across the business.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and comfortable getting involved in different areas of the business.

You'll bring:

Experience in business development, customer management, hire coordination, operations or a similar role

Confidence dealing with customers, managing enquiries and building long-term relationships

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities

A practical, solutions-focused approach to day‑to‑day challenges

Good computer skills, including email, quoting and business management systems

A professional presentation and confident communication style

The ability to work independently, take initiative and manage your time effectively

A willingness to learn and become involved in all aspects of the scaffold business

Highly Regarded:

Experience in scaffolding, equipment hire or the construction industry

Previous experience coordinating jobs, managing contracts or supporting daily operations

An understanding of construction projects and contractor requirements
