Anglo American Australia is seeking a Safety-focused Seamgas SCADA Operator to monitor and support the seam gas drainage infrastructure at Moranbah North Mine, QLD. You will respond to alarms, manage trends, and support safe underground operations while coordinating with technical and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes process safety, incident data provision, and continuous improvement in SCADA processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or monitoring SCADA or process control systems.
• Mining or industrial operations experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret operational data and identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor gas drainage and SCADA networks for safe operation.
• Respond to alarms, trends and potential threats.
• Escalate issues to appropriate teams with clear handovers.
• Help develop SCADA processes, standards and reports.
