Job summary

CK Recruitment is seeking a reliable General Labourer for a busy sawmill in NSW. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys outdoor, physical work and teamwork. Previous sawmill experience is advantageous but training will be provided.

The position is permanent with 7am–4pm Monday to Thursday, and 7am–1:30pm on Fridays. On offer are a stable role, on‑the‑job training, a supportive team, and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and willing to work hard.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a sawmill, yard, construction or similar environment desirable.
• Forklift or machinery experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• General labouring and manual handling.
• Assisting with timber processing and production.
• Stacking, sorting and moving timber.
• Keeping the yard and work areas clean and organised.
• Operating basic equipment and machinery after training.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
• Other general duties as required.
