Job summary

Amazon Leo Networking Software is seeking a Network Support Engineer to join the NOC team. You will respond to incidents, assist in deploying network capabilities across regions, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability for customers.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, scripting, and troubleshooting in a large-scale satellite networking environment, with on-call duties and a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development or technical support experience.
• Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• 2+ years of network engineering experience for large-scale networks.
• Experience with network monitoring and automation scripting (SQL, Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and escalate network incidents, diagnose issues and outages.
• Support deployment and onboarding of network capabilities across regions.
• Monitor network performance and ensure uptime for customers.
• Build tools, develop best practices, refine procedures to improve operations.
• Manage severity 2/3 tickets and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with network, software, and security engineers.
