Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Specialist to join the Supply Chain Technology team. You’ll configure SAP EWM and MM, manage change requests and support BAU operations across the supply chain landscape.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Technology, you’ll work with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop practical solutions and deliver project artefacts such as process maps, test scripts and cutover plans. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Supply Chain or equivalent
• At least five years’ experience with SAP Decentralised EWM
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA MM
• Experience supporting PETDs and 3PL implementations
• Knowledge of batch management and SAP batch classification
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping
• Ability to prioritise and deliver under tight timeframes
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus

About the team

The Information Technology team at Sigma Healthcare is responsible for the design, implementation and support of all of Sigma’s technology stack, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4 HANA, decentralised EWM, SAP SaaS products, Salesforce, Retail POS within Chemist Warehouse and a multitude of supporting applications. We are a team of approximately 350 dedicated staff, supplemented by external IT organisations, to provide a cohesive ecosystem of solutions to our business.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Technology, the SAP Specialist - EWM will play a key role in delivering projects, continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing BAU support across the supply chain technology landscape.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to understand requirements, develop practical solutions and deliver key project artefacts, including requirements documentation, process flows, test scripts and test evidence. The role will also be responsible for configuring SAP EWM and associated MM (Materials Management) and data cut‑over activities in line with the agreed solution design framework.
As a key member of the Supply Chain Technology team, you’ll own change requests, manage enhancements and help ensure SAP solutions continue to support efficient, reliable and scalable warehouse and supply chain operations.

Role responsibilities

• Provide functional and cross-functional expertise and guidance predominantly in EWM but also MM
• Work with business stakeholders to understand the problem statement and determine requirements
• Documentation, configuration, testing, and solution deployment activities such as cutover, training, hypercare support etc
• Collaborate with development teams to prepare comprehensive functional design documents
• Communicate with senior management, business users, and technical teams to ensure successful project implementations

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced SAP EWM professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with practical supply chain expertise. You’ll ideally bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
• At least five years’ experience working with SAP Decentralised EWM.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM).
• Proven experience supporting multiple PETDs within a single warehouse environment, as well as 3PL implementations.
• In‑depth knowledge of batch management and SAP batch classification.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, case modelling and the use of analytical tools.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving and planning skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex challenges.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, negotiate outcomes and deliver quality work within tight timeframes.
• Previous experience working in the healthcare industry would be highly regarded.
