Job summary

Paxus is seeking an experienced Lead/Senior SAP Procurement Consultant for a contract until May 2027. You will be the primary SAP MM/Procurement Functional Consultant on large-scale transformation programs and work onsite in Melbourne, Canberra, or Sydney.

Key duties include end-to-end SAP S/4HANA MM design, procurement processes, and cross-module integrations (Ariba, Finance, EWM). Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on SAP MM configuration across full-cycle implementations.
• Strong end-to-end procurement processes: Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay.
• S/4HANA capabilities including Fiori, Central Procurement and analytics.
• Experience integrating SAP MM with Ariba, SAP Finance and EWM.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and MM.
• Facilitate workshops to map processes to S/4HANA best practices.
• Configure SAP MM components and integrations with other modules.
• Develop functional documentation and deployment plans.

As an experienced SAP Procurement Lead you will serve as the primary SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) Functional Consultant on large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Materials Management solutions, including Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Procurement Analytics, and Supplier Management.
• Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, map business processes, and translate them into functional specifications aligned with S/4HANA best practices.
• Configure SAP MM components including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Pricing Procedures, Output Management, Release Strategies, Master Data, and integrations with Ariba, Finance, Warehouse Management, and Supply Chain modules.
• Develop functional documentation including solution designs, configuration rationales, test scripts, and deployment plans.

Skills/experience needed:

• Extensive hands-on SAP MM configuration experience across multiple full-cycle implementations, ideally within S/4HANA environments.
• Strong end-to-end procurement processes including Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Compliance.
• Solid S/4HANA capabilities including Fiori applications, Central Procurement, S/4HANA Business Partners, and embedded analytics.
• Experience integrating SAP MM with SAP Ariba, SAP Finance, SAP Warehouse Management/EWM, and other Supply Chain modules.
