Job summary

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to deliver innovative business solutions through design, build and test, including systems integration.

The contract runs until May 2027 and onsite work is mandatory in Melbourne, Canberra or Sydney. Must be an Australian citizen with active NV1 clearance (AGSVA). The role requires strong SAP experience across ABAP, CDS, Fiori, and related modules.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated SAP experience coding (ABAP/Java)
• Experience with SAP CDS, Fiori and Enterprise Search preferred
• Senior development role with at least 3 full cycle implementations

Responsibilities

• Prepare strategy documents including custom development strategy
• Build and remediate WRICEFXs
• Deliver assigned tasks on time across varying complexity
• Analyze, design, develop, prototype, test and maintain complex solutions
• Mentor and share knowledge as SME to less experienced colleagues
• Participate in business process workshops
• Contribute to blueprint design documentation

As an experienced SAP Consultant, you will deliver innovative business solutions through design, build and test, including systems integration.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparation of Strategy documents such as custom development strategy
• Build and remediation of WRICEFXs
• On time delivery of assigned tasks of varying complexity
• Perform and manage analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities to solve highly complex problems and deliver high quality solutions
• Share knowledge and expertise as the Subject Matter Expert and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues
• Participate in the business process workshops
• Contribute to development and design of the blueprint design document

Skills/experience needed:

• Demonstrable skills in ABAP Core Data Services, Fiori Launchpad and Enterprise Search
• Demonstrated SAP experience coding (ABAP/Java) solutions for SAP systems
• At least 3 full cycle implementations in a senior development role
• Ability to communicate clearly, listen, understand and adapt to the audience; to ensure common understanding.
