Job summary

Genesis Recruitment Solutions – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Lead to join a high-profile transformation program for an initial 3-6 month contract in Sydney. This role will play a key part in leading procurement and materials management initiatives within a complex SAP environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to drive successful delivery across procurement processes, solution design, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP MM experience within large-scale enterprises.
• Lead Consultant, Solution Lead, or Functional Lead experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or transformations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM workstreams across project and enhancements.
• Define procurement requirements and translate into SAP solutions.
• Provide expertise across Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba teams.
• Lead workshops and sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Lead to join a high-profile transformation program for an initial 3-6 month contract in Sydney.

This role will play a key part in leading procurement and materials management initiatives within a complex SAP environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to drive successful delivery across procurement processes, solution design, and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM workstreams across project and enhancement initiatives
• Partner with business stakeholders to define procurement requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
• Provide expertise across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions
• Lead workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
• Coordinate testing, UAT, defect management, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams including FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba where applicable
• Provide leadership, guidance, and best-practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communications

Skills Required

You will be a seasoned SAP procurement professional with a strong background delivering SAP MM solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SAP MM experience
• Proven experience as a Lead Consultant, Solution Lead, or Functional Lead
• Deep knowledge of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes
• Strong experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformations
• Experience leading workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders
• Strong functional design, configuration, and testing expertise
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
