Job Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team in Australia and support business development, solution positioning and customer engagements across SAP S/4HANA, including FICO, SD, MM, EWM and other SAP modules.

Position: SAP Pre-Sales Consultant – SAP S/4HANA

Location: Sydney and Brisbane, Australia (PR/Citizens only)

Key Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales and business development activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation, migration and optimisation projects.

• Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand business challenges, requirements and transformation objectives across SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, EWM and other SAP solutions.

• Work with sales, consulting and delivery teams to develop tailored SAP solution proposals aligned with customer requirements.

• Lead or support discovery sessions, customer workshops, solution presentations and demonstrations.

• Translate business requirements into high-level SAP solution approaches, delivery models, project scope and implementation roadmaps.

• Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, statements of work, solution descriptions, effort estimates and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical experts to validate solution feasibility, delivery scope, resource requirements and project estimates.

• Present SAP capabilities, transformation approaches, value propositions and differentiators to customer stakeholders and senior decision-makers.

• Identify opportunities for SAP transformation, process optimisation, system integration and additional consulting services.

• Support commercial discussions, project estimations, pricing inputs and proposal negotiations in collaboration with sales and leadership teams.

• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders throughout the pre-sales cycle.

• Collaborate with teams across Australia, APAC and the global cbs organisation to leverage SAP expertise, delivery capabilities and industry best practices.

• Stay up to date with SAP S/4HANA developments, industry trends and customer transformation priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant SAP consulting experience, with strong functional expertise in at least one SAP module, such as FICO, SD, MM, EWM or other SAP solutions.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation or migration projects.

• Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, business development, bid management or customer-facing consulting is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and the ability to explain solution capabilities, benefits and implementation approaches to customers.

• Ability to gather business requirements, identify customer pain points and translate them into suitable SAP solution proposals.

• Experience preparing or contributing to proposals, RFP/RFI responses, statements of work, effort estimates and solution presentations.

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence engaging customers, business leaders and senior stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to develop solution designs, validate scope and estimate delivery effort.

• Commercial awareness, with an understanding of project scope, delivery models, resource planning and pricing considerations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• A proactive consulting mindset, strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

• Ability to collaborate across Australia, APAC and global teams, with willingness to travel for customer meetings and workshops as required.

• A degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
