Job summary

CBS APAC is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Consultant (FICO) to join our growing APAC team in Sydney or Brisbane. You will deliver FI/CO solutions, work with stakeholders, and contribute to transformation projects across Australia and APAC.

You bring 6–10 years of SAP FICO consulting, S/4HANA Finance experience, and strong English communication. This role offers regional exposure, cross-border collaboration, and an entrepreneurial environment with travel to APAC offices.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling processes and SAP integration.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation experience.
• Experience in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and CO is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand Finance and Controlling requirements.
• Deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across FI/CO.
• Participate in SAP implementation, transformation and optimisation projects.
• Configure SAP solutions and translate business requirements into effective functional designs.
• Work across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Controlling, depending on your expertise.
• Support integration between FICO and other SAP modules, particularly MM and SD.
• Participate in workshops, solution design, testing, data migration, cutover and go-live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams.
• Support customers through post-go-live activities and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to pre-sales, solution discussions and customer engagements where required.
• Collaborate with SAP teams across Australia, APAC and the global cbs organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

• 6-10 years of SAP FICO consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes and SAP integration with other modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation projects.
• Experience across areas such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and CO is desirable.
• Experience in SAP configuration, testing, data migration and/or go-live activities.
• Strong understanding of integration with MM, SD and other SAP modules.
• Knowledge of interfaces, APIs, integrations or technical concepts such as ABAP is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work across Australia, APAC and global teams.
• A degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
