About the job

SKL Technology is currently searching for a motivated SAP Applications Manager to join our growing client within their ICT Services Division.

The role involves leading and delivering Level 2 production support for critical SAP business applications. You will work closely with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to resolve complex incidents, manage change and release activities, and ensure the stability, performance, and compliance of SAP application environments in a regulated setting.

Location: VIC

Type: Contract

Length: 5 months (with possible extensions)

Citizenship: Australian citizenship is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide Level 2 production support for SAP business applications, including incident and request management.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve complex system and application issues, including priority and critical incidents.
• Apply ITIL best-practice methodologies for incident, problem, change, and service request management.
• Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on technical and operational issues.
• Validate and analyse business problems to distinguish between system defects and business rule issues.
• Coordinate and manage engagement with external production support and shared services teams.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP CRM, SAP Payment System (PSCD), or SAP participant/provider portals.
• Experience managing complex SAP data models and environments.
• Familiarity with accessibility-focused design and inclusive digital practices.
