Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced SAP Developer to design, implement, and support SAP-based solutions across modules such as FI/CO, PRC, SCM and HCM. The role supports S/4HANA migrations and SAP BTP extensions, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable SAP solutions.

Qualifications

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Developer to design, develop, implement, and support SAP-based solutions that meet business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop high-quality SAP applications, integrations, enhancements, and reports across various SAP modules.

The role can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane

Key Responsibilities

NV1 security clearance is required for this role.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP solutions and custom enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.
• Create and support SAP integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, OData services, and middleware platforms.
• Develop SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 solutions to enhance user experience.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SAP applications.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to develop and enhance SAP modules such as FI/CO, PRC, SCM and HCM etc.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and user guides.
• Provide production support and resolve system incidents within agreed service levels.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development best practices, security standards, and governance requirements.

ABOUT YOU

• Strong experience in SAP development with CDS views
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and HANA database concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or SAP BTP.
• CRM CASE, Workflow, Fiori Development (ABAP backend Fiori) or Adobe
• Experience with AMDP, and HANA-based development.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and SAP Solution Manager methodologies.
• Experience in cloud-based SAP environments and SAP BTP extensions.
• Understanding of data migration and system integration approaches.
