Job summary

South West Tractors in Young, NSW is seeking an experienced Agricultural Machinery Salesperson to join our friendly, high-performing team. You’ll develop long-term customer relationships and help farmers select machinery solutions that fit their businesses.

This role offers a competitive remuneration package negotiated with the right candidate, with potential bonus earnings, a fully maintained company vehicle and phone, and ongoing training within the AEH Group’s branch network across NSW,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural industry, equipment and solutions.
• Possess a current drivers’ licence.
• Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willing to continually expand knowledge of farm machinery and the agricultural industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships and generate strong machinery sales for both new and used machinery.
• Presenting, promoting, and selling products/services to existing and prospective customers.
• Predicting sales requirements and working with current trends.
• Ordering equipment, monitoring pricing/programs and forecasting.
• Compile stock appraisals with pictures and load onto shared drive.
• Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings.
