Job summary

Rural Group is seeking experienced Agricultural Machinery Salespeople to join our high-performing teams across Cobram, Shepparton and Echuca. You will develop relationships with farmers, promote machinery solutions, and drive sales for both new and used equipment.

You'll work with leading equipment, attend weekly meetings, and earn a competitive remuneration with potential bonuses. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate and you’ll be part of a supportive regional network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural industry, equipment and solutions.
• Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
• Sales oriented with an understanding of the importance in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships and generate strong machinery sales for both new and used machinery.
• Presenting, promoting, and selling products/services to existing and prospective customers.
• Predicting sales requirements and working with current trends.
• Ordering equipment, monitoring pricing/programs and forecasting.
• Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings.

The Opportunity:

• Develop and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships and generate strong machinery sales for both new and used machinery.

• Compile stock appraisals with pictures and load onto shared drive
• Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings

About you:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural industry, equipment and solutions.
• Possess a current drivers’ licence.
• Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
• Sales orientated with an understanding of the importance in customer service.
• Commitment to seeing the process through from inquiry to sale.
• Willing to continually expand your knowledge of farm machinery and the agricultural industry.
