Job summary

Latitude IT in Australia seeks a Salesforce Platform Manager to own the platform and future-state roadmap, not just deliver someone else’s project. You’ll lead a hands-on, technical team and drive governance, architecture, and release decisions for the Salesforce footprint used by about 800 daily users across Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud, and Data 360.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with hands-on Salesforce experience and governance ownership.
• Directly owning platform governance and roadmap, not just delivery.
• 5+ years leading a team of 5+ people, circa 10 years in Salesforce-related work.
• Hands-on experience with Einstein GPT or Agentforce and multi-cloud Salesforce suites.

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce platform end-to-end, including architecture, governance and debt cleanup.
• Lead the in-house team first; contractors absorb spikes, not ownership.
• Define target-state strategy for platform expansion into Marketing Cloud and Data 360.
• Manage partners for quality and align stakeholders with platform solutions.
• Drive platform maturity: sandbox, licensing, security tooling, CI/CD and tests.
• Evaluate Einstein AI/Agentforce and establish governance for responsible use.
• Develop career pathways from admins to senior/lead roles.
