Job summary

Williams River Steel Group is seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our head office team in Tomago. This is a hands-on role for a construction professional responsible for estimating full turnkey commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with clients, builders and designers; review drawings and tender documents; manage multiple tenders to ensure competitive pricing and on-time delivery. Permanent, full-time position based at Tomago with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and turnkey estimating experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail when calculating project costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, commercially sound estimates and project costings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation in detail.
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare full turnkey construction pricing.
• Collaborate with clients, builders, consultants and project teams.
• Manage multiple tenders, deadlines and pricing priorities.
