Australian Landscape Supplies – Nambour is expanding and seeks a friendly, industry-savvy Retail Sales representative to help traders and DIY customers on-site in our newly refurbished showroom and warehouse.

You'll build great relationships, provide expert product advice on landscaping materials, and actively manage quotes, orders, and follow-up leads to grow our local sales pipeline in a busy, supportive Brisbane-grown company.

Qualifications

• Background in landscaping, hardware, construction, or sales support.
• Can-do attitude, hardworking, pride in workspace, and goal-oriented.
• BDM experience in landscaping is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Product Knowledge Expert: become an expert in our product range to provide top-tier advice to trade and DIY customers (full training provided).
• Sales Support & Customer Service: warmly greet and assist trade and retail customers face-to-face in our new showroom, as well as via phone and email.
• Order & Quote Management: efficiently process customer orders, create accurate draft orders, and put together professional quotes.
• Pipeline & Prospecting: proactively manage our sales pipeline, follow up on open quotes, and identify and prospect new business opportunities — growing your own sales pipeline.

About the Role

At Australian Landscape Supplies (ALS), we're growing fast. We're not a slow-moving corporate office; we're a sleeves-up team that needs someone who can build great customer relationships, provide expert advice, and proactively manage our sales pipeline.

We're looking for someone who:

• Knows the industry: Understands landscape materials and retaining walls, whether from on-site experience or mastering your own DIY projects.
• Thrives on variety: Happy to jump from managing quotes and emails to assisting with answering phone calls
• Is proactive: Doesn't wait for the phone to ring — loves following up leads and chasing new business.

• BDM Experience: Experience as a BDM in the landscaping industry is highly regarded but not required.
