Job summary

Metrobuild Building and Construction Suppliers P/L – Springvale VIC is seeking an independent Sales Representative/Business Development Contractor to generate new business in the building and construction sector. You will identify opportunities, visit sites and build a portfolio of customers, earning commission on eligible sales.

With flexible working arrangements and support from Metrobuild's internal team, you can develop your own schedule and potentially transition to a permanent full-time

Qualifications

• Experience in building, construction or building materials preferred.
• Strong communication, sales and negotiation skills.
• Confident in approaching and developing new customers.
• Existing construction industry contacts highly regarded.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Current driver's licence.

Metrobuild Building and Construction Suppliers P/L – Springvale VIC

This is an independent, commission-based opportunity with flexible working arrangements. The primary focus of the role is to independently identify, approach and bring new customers to Metrobuild. Commission will be earned on eligible sales generated from customers introduced by the representative, in accordance with an agreed commission structure. The representative will have flexibility in managing their own schedule and business development activities. For the right person who performs well and develops a strong customer portfolio, there is an opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time sales/account management position in the future.

Key responsibilities
