An application made for this job — a tailored resume and cover letter that speak straight to the posting.
Quest Events in Manly, NSW, seeks a results-driven sales professional for consultative, phone-based B2B outreach. You’ll manage multiple campaigns, engage senior decision-makers, and forecast pipelines while working closely with cross-functional teams at live conferences.
You’ll join a collaborative team with on-site event participation, hybrid work, and a path to growth within Australia’s leading industry-focused events portfolio.
You own delegate revenue for a set of events across the calendar. That means finding the right people inside target organisations, getting them on the phone, understanding what they're trying to solve, and showing them why two or three days in a room with their peers is worth the ticket price and the time out of the office. This is consultative phone sales, not a script. Our delegates are senior and time-poor. You'll do better here if you're genuinely curious about what they do and what they need. The breadth is the job. You'll be running several campaigns at once, each with a different audience, and you'll need to get up to speed on a new sector quickly and repeatedly. You'll work in project teams, not in a silo. Every event here runs as a cross-functional team — production, marketing, sponsorship, operations and delegate sales working the same campaign to the same deadline. You'll sit in campaign meetings, feed what you're hearing on the phone back into the agenda and the marketing message, and be accountable to the team for your part of the number.
Quest Events produces B2B conferences across the issues Australian industry is actually wrestling with — sustainability, energy, climate risk, regulatory reform, industrial decarbonisation — alongside one of the country's strongest portfolios of women's leadership summits: Women in Tech Fest, Women in Construction, Women in Mining, Women in Procurement Leadership, Women in Engineering.
