Nutrien Water, part of Nutrien Ag Solutions, is seeking a safety-focused sales professional for our Rockhampton team. You will engage in retail and trade sales for irrigation, pumping and filtration products, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to project pricing and product selection.

You’ll report to the Branch Manager and collaborate with a diverse team. A forklift licence or willingness to obtain one, along with a current driver’s licence, are desirable in this on-site role

• Experience in the irrigation industry or related sectors.
• Strong product and system knowledge across irrigation, pumping or filtration solutions.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email, in-store and on-site.
• High quality customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience and a passion for sales and growing client networks.
• Able to work in a safety-focused environment and within a team.
• Forklift licence held or willing to obtain.
• Clean and current driver’s licence is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, site visits and in-store, with a focus on growing trade sales.
• Prepare estimates and assist with project pricing and product selection.
• Conduct stocktakes and invoicing.
• Assist with warehouse/dispatch activities including deliveries.
• Participate in training and development as required.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be exposed to various areas of the business including but not limited to.

• Retail and trade sales on a variety of products within our water business including irrigation, pumping, mining and filtration
• Answering customer enquires via phone calls, emails, site visits and instore with an emphasis on growing trade sales
• Preparing estimates and assisting with project pricing and product selection
• Stocktakes
• Invoicing
• Warehouse/dispatch activities including customer deliveries
• This role is diverse and extensive training will be provided

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in the irrigation industry, in similar or other roles
• Experience within the irrigation industry (commercial, domestic, turf or related sectors)
• Strong product and system knowledge across irrigation, pumping and/or filtration solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer enquiries across phone, email, in-store and on-site environments
• High quality customer service
• Experience and a passion for sales and building client relationships
• Ability to work in a team
• Can do attitude - eager to learn and grow
• Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment
• Either hold or be willing to obtain a forklift license.
• Clean and current driver’s license is essential for this role.
