The Westin is seeking a Sales Executive at our Perth location to drive group and catering sales, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and deliver tailored proposals and contracts. This role focuses on securing conferences and events, site inspections, and nurturing guest relationships to foster loyalty.

Candidates should have relevant sales experience and working rights in Australia, with a proactive, self-motivated approach in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales or events is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Position Summary:

• Rise with us and identify and secure new group & catering opportunities
• Work with other operational disciplines to secure conferences, meetings and events
• Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements, focusing on attention to detail
• Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion and providing guests with everything they need
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty and overall wellbeing by engaging and inspiring guests through each customer experience
• Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, creating intimate and distinctive experiences to enable future bookings
• Act as a wellbeing ambassador and promote awareness for The Westin brand

About You:

• Relevant experience in a similar role
