Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Perth is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will assist with maintaining an assigned section, preparing food to specification, and supporting a fast-paced service while ensuring guest wellbeing.

You will bring a Trade or Commercial Cookery qualification, relevant kitchen experience, and a positive, proactive attitude. Working rights in Australia and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Rise with us and organise and maintain assigned section of the kitchen effectively.
• Serve food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles focusing on attention to detail.
• Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to exceed guest expectations with emphasis on guest wellbeing.
• Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience.
• Maintain strong food safety and property standards.
