System C ANZ is seeking a confident Sales Development Representative to grow the new business pipeline for MYP, iinsight and iinduct. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers across health, social care and community care, using phone, email, LinkedIn and social selling to open conversations and book discovery meetings or product demonstrations.
You will primarily focus on MYP while supporting opportunities for iinduct and iinsight, working with Sales and Marketing
We are looking for a confident and commercially curious Sales Development Representative to help grow the new business pipeline for MYP, iinsight and iinduct at System C ANZ. This is a hands-on, top-of-funnel sales role focused on researching target organisations, connecting with the right decision-makers and creating well-qualified opportunities for our Sales Specialists.
As our Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many prospective customers across health, social care and community care. You will use phone, email, LinkedIn and social selling to open relevant conversations, understand early-stage needs and book high-quality discovery meetings or product demonstrations.
The role is predominantly focused on MYP, while also supporting opportunities for iinduct and iinsight. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing Specialists to improve targeting, messaging, qualification and conversion.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys research, is comfortable starting new conversations and wants to build a career in B2B technology sales. With demonstrated performance, product knowledge and sales capability, there is a pathway to progress into a Sales Specialist role over time.
System C ANZ is part of System C, a leading provider of health, social care and community care software, with a mission to deliver technology that connects and transforms health and care outcomes.
Across Australia and New Zealand, we support disability, aged care, allied health, community services, medico-legal and government organisations through purpose-built solutions including MYP, iinsight and iinduct. Together, these solutions help providers manage care delivery, workforce operations, compliance, learning and business performance through connected, person-centred workflows.
We work with more than 1,000 providers across Australia and New Zealand, combining global expertise with local industry knowledge to help organisations create more connected, efficient and sustainable services.
Research and plan target accounts: Research priority organisations, identify commercial and sector triggers, map relevant stakeholders and build focused prospect lists aligned to sales and marketing priorities.
Prospect and engage: Conduct disciplined outbound prospecting through cold calling, personalised email, LinkedIn and social selling, using relevant and outcome-focused messaging.
Qualify opportunities: Lead initial conversations to understand the organisation, challenges, priorities, current environment, timing and stakeholder interest.
Book quality meetings: Arrange qualified discovery meetings or demonstrations with an appropriate stakeholder and a clear purpose, agenda and agreed next step.
Create strong handovers: Provide Sales Specialists with concise account research, qualification notes, stakeholder context, engagement history and accurate CRM information.
Maintain pipeline discipline: Keep prospecting activity, account intelligence, outcomes and next actions accurate and current in the CRM.
Build market and product knowledge: Develop credible knowledge of MYP, iinduct and iinsight, as well as the operational challenges affecting disability, aged care, community services and allied health providers.
Continuously improve: Use coaching, call reviews, feedback and performance data to strengthen prospecting quality, objection handling and conversion.
Consistent creation of qualified top-of-funnel opportunities aligned to target customer profiles and sales priorities.
Relevant meetings with appropriate stakeholders and enough context for a productive discovery conversation.
Disciplined multi-channel outreach with messaging tailored to the account, stakeholder and reason for engagement.
Strong conversion from prospect engagement to meetings held, and from meetings held to Sales Specialist-accepted opportunities.
Complete, accurate and timely CRM records, meeting briefs and handover notes.
Increasing confidence in product, market, qualification and objection-handling capability.
You are curious, organised and comfortable speaking with people you have not met before. You understand that effective sales development is about relevance and quality, not simply activity volume. You are persistent without being pushy, open to coaching and motivated by measurable progress. You will bring:
Confident verbal and written communication skills and the ability to start professional conversations with new contacts.
Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant organisations, stakeholders and commercial triggers.
Comfort using the phone, email and LinkedIn as part of a structured outbound approach.
Curiosity, active listening and the ability to ask clear qualification questions.
An organised and disciplined approach to follow-up, task management and CRM data quality.
Resilience, personal accountability and a constructive response to rejection.
The ability to learn software products, sector terminology and customer workflows quickly.
A genuine interest in developing a career in B2B technology sales.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
Experience in sales development, business development, customer service or another role involving proactive outreach.
Experience in a SaaS, technology or software environment.
Experience using a CRM, sales engagement tools, LinkedIn prospecting or social selling.
Knowledge of disability and the NDIS, aged care including Support at Home or CHSP, community services or allied health.
