Business Automation Works (BAW) is expanding its team in Newcastle with a newly created Sales role focused on understanding client problems and closing deals for ATOmate and Omble.
You’ll guide prospective accounting firms through a structured discovery process, demonstrate product value, and move opportunities from first meeting to signed contracts while representing BAW at industry events as required.
Buddy is proud to be partnering with Business Automation Works (BAW), the team behind ATOmate and Omble.
ATOmate takes the grind out of ATO paperwork for accountants. It automatically processes, checks and distributes ATO documents, giving firms more time for their clients.
Omble brings live ATO and practice-management data into one dashboard, helping accountants keep track of clients’ lodgements, payments and tax debts.
BAW is continuing to expand and this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team in Newcastle. This is a newly created Sales role for someone who is skilled at understanding and qualifying a customer problem, presenting a practical solution and closing a deal.
BAW’s marketing engine generates discovery meetings, so you won’t be expected to build a territory through cold prospecting. You’ll take prospective clients through a well-defined sales process: ask the right questions, demonstrate where the product can help, and follow up and manage the opportunity through to a signed contract. This is a five-days-on-site role based in Newcastle, with opportunities to represent BAW at industry events and conferences as required.
Experience in accounting or SaaS would be useful, but it isn’t essential. What matters more is your curiosity and your ability to learn, communicate value and follow through.
If you get a buzz from closing deals and want to help accounting firms cut the admin and spend more time helping their clients prosper, then we want to hear from you!
Applications close 5pm Friday 30 October 2026.
