Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in Sydney is seeking a Sales Associate to act as a Brand ambassador, delivering an exceptional client experience and achieving personal sales targets.

You will engage with clients across all product categories, apply cross-selling strategies, and build lasting relationships while maintaining the boutique’s high standards and brand representation.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education or above.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience within the retail industry; luxury experience preferred but not essential.

• Provide an excellent client experience with a warm welcome, proactive engagement, and personalised service.

• Support boutique operations to ensure the store runs smoothly and maintains Dior standards.

Job responsibilities

Sales Performance & Achievement

• Enthusiastically achieve and exceed individual sales targets and Boutique objectives through the effective application of selling techniques, excellent client service, clientele development, and comprehensive product knowledge.
• Identify and anticipate clients' needs and expectations, ensuring successful sales transactions.
• Advise clients across all product categories and apply cross-selling strategies to maximise sales potential.
• Build strong collaboration with the team to contribute to overall sales and Boutique objectives.

Client Experience & Development

• Provide an excellent client experience, offering a warm welcome and proactive engagement with every client.
• Develop and maintain long-term, professional relationships with clients through consistent and personalised service.
• Arrange private appointments for key clients, ensuring an exclusive and tailored shopping experience.
• Provide exceptional after-sale service, managing client enquiries and support efficiently.
• Regularly update client information within "Be Dior" to enhance loyalty and personalise future interactions.
• Actively participate in in-store and external events that contribute to the overall Boutique performance and client engagement.

Product Knowledge & Brand Representation

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of all product categories, their features, benefits, and the unique stories behind them.
• Represent the Christian Dior brand with integrity, passion, and professionalism at all times.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new product launches to inform client interactions.

Boutique Operations Support

• Maintain the highest standards of upkeep for the selling space, visual merchandising, and overall image of the store, in strict adherence to Dior standards.
• Provide support to Back of House operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Boutique.
• Adhere to all internal procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with Dir requirements.

Profile

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary education or above.

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience within the retail industry. Luxury experience preferred but not essential

Other Requirements:

• Excellent command of communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possesses excellent selling techniques, service-oriented mindset, and client-centric approach.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team-player.
• Passionate about the luxury fashion industry.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
